Diagnosis and treatment of gallstone intestinal obstruction in an adult patient

Background: Gallstone ileus, which is called Type Vb Mirizzi Syndrome, a rare case of mechanical intestinal obstruction observed in older patients with history cholelithiasis or cholecystitis. Diagnostic Imaging plays an important role the management suspected gallstone ileus. X-Ray and Abdominal Computed Tomography (CT) are preferred modality. Case presentation: The patient was diagnosed ileus at age 45. had 10 years biliary colic disease. who suffered from obstruction. CT demonstrated pneumobilia involving gallbladder, 5, 5 cm calcified stone ileum small bowel dilatation. He underwent enterolithotomy huge removed. When gallbladder area checked, highly adherent (to colon stomach) inflamed. We malignancy so multipl biopsy taken. Two-stage treatment model planned. After surgery, any emerging complications were closely monitored. Conclusions: modality for diagnosis. main surgery. First step enterotomy, later intented gallbladder.
